- The following pages provide information pertaining to each family
- group that includes at least one child. The pages are listed in alphabeti-
- cal order by the husband's last name because, in most cases, that is the
- name used by all members of the family group.

- These records follow a format that has been used by genealogists for
- many years and serve as a common research document that is in widespread
- usage. Because the family groups are defined as those having at least one
- child, and, in some cases, the marriage records may be unavailable, the
- headings "husband" and "wife" should actually read "father" and "mother".
- There are also some entries in the forms that do not apply to everyone,
- such as date of death for individuals that are still living.
